Artland Dragons is a basketball club member of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), it was founded in 1955 as section of the QTSV, and based since than at Quakenbrück, Germany.
Back in the 70's the club was promoted to the 2nd German League. But the real deal in the 1st League of the BBL, started until 2003, when the club was finally promoted.
Even though the haven't won a 1st league or German Cup title yet, they seam to have improved over the last years and it's posible they'll win their first main championship title very soon.
In especial after finishing on second place in league and German Cup past season (2007/08).
