Milwaukee Brewer's winning streak is increasing its fan number
By Cindy Ferguson
Wednesday’s game turned into the Milwaukee Brewer’s sixth consecutive win after outfielder Geoff Jenkins showed everyone what he is really made of.
Jenkins is probably the player that has witnessed more of the Brewers' losing history than anyone else and as it turns out to be he is also the one enjoying the majority of the team’s success. He hit a solo home run in the fourth inning and distributed a go-ahead single in the eighth that gave the Brewers a 3-1 win that concluded a three-game sweep over the Washington Nationals at Miller Park.
The Brewers are now in first place after spectacularly winning nine out of ten games on an unbelievable home stand and have been the victors of 17 of their last 21 games, without mentioning the fact that the team has enhanced the most excellent record in MLB to 24-10.
A lot of fans are still watching from home or far behind the fence, but the number of people visiting Miller Park has incredibly risen recently and that also includes TV, newspaper, magazine and radio reporters.
Many just wait to see if the team keeps up their current rhythm or if it turns into a short-term fantasy for all. That is because since 1982 everyone has eagerly waited for the Brewers to come back and lead the team once again to the World Series.
What is true is that they have arisen many old feelings and have brought new hopes to their fans. The teams next game is scheduled to take place on Friday the 11th of May at 6:10pm Central Standard Time against the NY Mets at the Shea Stadium.
