MLB Red Sox – Enjoying good times
By: Jane Richy
Boston Red Sox swept off the Anaheim Angels in the ALCS with a final score 9 to 1 last Sunday and celebrated with beer and champagne; Angel’s manager Mike Scioscia couldn’t say much about these results “We just couldn't match up with them. They played great baseball and took it to us. They beat us”
Players like Jacoby Ellsbury, Manny Delcarmen, Dustin Pedroia, were rejoicing, the rookies got dumped buckets filled of beer and champagne from the veterans, they all celebrated in fellowship like a real team does, former players recognize that the new people is contributing a lot.
There is no doubt that Delcarmen and Pedroira have been a key for the success in the second half of the season, though Pedroira is such a new player he performs as a 10-year-old experienced player, the team is grateful for what he has done for their club, and is a strong contender to win the price for the Rookie of the Year. On the other hand; Delmar was very emotional he said “I didn’t expect to come up at the beginning of the year, but this is exciting,” wiping his eyes and thanking the team’s manager Terry Francona.
These are the results of the knowledge and experience Red Sox organization has being working on and has strengthen the antique baseball team, on the way to a possible World Championship these changes are very significant, it might seem little but will pay a lot in the coming years.
