NFL Dallas Coach suspended

By: Jane Richy

Former quarterback from the Vikings, Falcon, Saints, Raiders and one of the current quarterback coaches of the Dallas Cowboys, Wade Wilson, has been suspended by the NFL for using potential enhancing substances.

According to the New York Daily News the product that he was using was a human growth hormone (HGH) provided by a pharmacy located in Florida which prescribes patients without previous medical checking; consumption of such substances is banned and penalized by NFL’s authorities for any member of the organization.

The forty eight year-old coach was penalized with a suspension for the first five games on the starting season and fined for $100,000. Though he said he did not think he was doing anything illegal and the reason for doing it was to “improve the quality of my life” after suffering from diabetes for over twenty years, also said that he stopped using it before he was investigated.

Wilson assumed the consequences for his irresponsible behavior and apologized for embarrassing the Dallas Cowboys, but he did not purpose to break the rules, and he has been faithful to the NFL league and the Dallas Cowboys and he will return to his usual job after the punishment is ended around October the 9th.
