Massa leads Ferrari One-Two in Turkish Grand Prix

Felipe Massa is a Brazilian driver who reached his fifth win in his career and the third of this season as he won the Turkish Grand Prix, where he got advantage over his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.

Fernando Alonso who is the McLaren’s Mercedes Benz defending champion, got the third position, ahead of German Nick Heidflied for BMW Sauber and Lewis Hamilton who is considered as the leader of the championship finished in the fifth position.

The Istanbul Park Circuit saw Massa’s second triumph, which was developed from pole position, where the Brazilian got the checkered flag 2.2 seconds ahead of his team-mate.

Massa’s first victory on a track was placed last year, where he showed a very professional performance.
Fernando Alonso finished with a bad result after being dropped from fourth to sixth place during the race, who also got stocked behind the German driver until the first stage of pit-stops came to its end.

Felipe Massa will not forget Turkey since it has been an important experience to him, expressing he loves the track because it became the catapult of his career. Massa have won two of three Grand Prix at the mentioned country.

The Turkish Grand Prix was created just two years ago as part of the 2005 Formula One Season.
The event is very popular since the Istanbul circuit is only the third anti-clockwise one of the F1 Calendar, which has 57 laps and a race length of 309.72 km.
