PGA Tour 2008 - Tiger Woods
By: Jane Richy
Tiger Woods won his second Tour Championship, the seventh PGA victory in 2007 and the 61st of his career; there’s no doubt he is doing well.
According to Hank Haney, Woods’ swing instructor since 2004, he has had low times, like no stroke play wins on his first season, and high times on the last five major championships. His trainer says that his swing is a lot more confident and that it has been an important change, and also said that “He changes his posture and makes him look like he is closer to the ball”
Although is playing so good, he’s planning to take an extend break after competing in the President’s Cup, that will be at the end of this month, until the Target World Challenge in December. The break will be of two and a half months, the longest he has been away from the clubs in the last 12 years; the reason is that he wants to spend more time with his wife and new daughter Sam Alexis.
Woods said that they don’t have any nannies; they want to raise their child themselves and so far his wife Elin has been taking care of everything all by herself so he would like to be there and help.
Wood also said that he is planning to do some scuba diving during these well deserved vacations.
