Kentucky Derby, more than a horse event!

This year the Kentucky Derby has a lot of surprises for the audience. The acknowledgment to Barbaro is one of them, which will take place next Saturday at Churchill Downs, after one year of his decease.

Your majesty, Queen Elizabeth II will also assist to the event and Churchill Downs is now getting ready for such an honor. As many people know the track becomes one of the preferred places for the rich and famous in every spring, but this year’s the most famous guest is the one who is known as the main member of the royal family considered as a big horses enthusiast.

The track’s working team is attending the high class or etiquette class in order to keep the Queen happy and to avoid any inconvenience during her presence. Actually, the chef will be preparing a special Southern-Style meal to consent her and also some Kentucky specialties will be on the menu.

The track will be full of thousands of flowers and is prepared for all the movie stars and famous business man who will attend the event as well.

Churchill Downs spokesman, Joe Koenig Loignon is very concerned just for the fact to entertain the queen because he thinks is not easy to satisfy a guest of this high profile.

Undoubtedly, the queen brings attention and emotion to the Derby, besides the big event the crowd is also flattered with such a visit.
