Stoner Great Victory in Qatar

The latest MotoGP race in Qatar was conquered by 21-year-old, Stoner, who enjoyed an eye-catching race achieving the victory on his Ducati mainly moving ahead of the Italian and with three laps left of the season-opener.

Ducati's Stoner overtook Rossi, who started the race on pole position, on the first lap and completed 22 laps of the 5.4 km Losail International Circuit in a clocked time of 43:2:48 for his first Moto GP triumph in 17 races.

Additionally, Rossi admitted he found it hard to match the Australian's pace late in the race. The Spaniard Dani Pedrosa was third with a registered time of 43:11.31and his Honda teammate and defending champion Nicky Hayden of the United States (US) made it to eight position with 43:25.84.
