Waltrip’s crew chief out of Nascar

Last Sunday, David Hyder and the team’s vice president, Bobby Kennedy, were turned out from Daytona International Speedway after the findings of an illegal additive was discovered during the mandatory qualifying inspections.
On Wednesday Waltrip spent all day meeting with NASCAR officials, who publicly made a show while Hyder and Kennedy were escorted out. Waltrip's Toyota Camry was also on display as inspectors ripped pieces out from under the hood.
After Nascar announced its penalties, Toyota Racing Development’s president, Jim Aust, said the manufacturer would continue to work with Waltrip. But, unfortunately the precedent of the incident will remain and this can have further consequences in Waltrip’ racing future.
