Bryant Reaches 20,000 noted points in Lakers' Triumph Against NY Nicks

What a spectacular night! Kobe Bryant truly enjoyed each moment of his return to the Madison Square Garden making history in the league thanks to his 39 points on Sunday’s; he is the youngest player to surpass the 20,000 points barrier in the NBA' history, and in that same game the Lakers won 95-90 over the Nicks in New York City.
At the Madison Square Garden in his comeback game Bryant also captured 11 repercussions and distributed eight assistances in almost two years. Bryant was suspended last year when the Lakers were coincidentally in New York.
Kobe’s triple score in the first minute of the third time allowed him to reach the record at his early age. Only Wilt Chamberlain (24, 134) and Michael Jordan (29, 326) reached the record before becoming 30. In basketball history a total of 31 players have managed to overcome the 20,000 points.
"Always I have liked to play here", said Bryant. "I did not have that opportunity last year, and that got me mad. It's my favorite field to play and I was happy to have done it today". The Lakers will receive the Phoenix by Christmas.
During the first minutes to the last quarter the spectators were very pleased to see Bryant returned to the field after the Nicks had lowered the disadvantage to a digit. Sasha Vujacic scored then a triple and Jordan Farmar scored also to place again to the Lakers on the road to victory with the scoreboard 80-68 and 9:45 minutes left.
NY Nicks’ Coach Isiah Thomas is preparing to face to Orlando on Wednesday. "Probably we have the wrong holders, so we are going to change our positions to try to achieve some more energetic players in the defense", said Thomas.
In other games, the Denver Nuggets won 106-105 over Sacrament Kings with shots from Linas Kleiza in the previous instant to the final whistle and the Celtics conquered Orlando Magic 103-91 including with eight points from the Puerto Rican Carlos Arroyo. While in Auburn Hills, Michigan the Rockets were defeated 94-82 by Detroit Pistons.
In Cleveland, the Cavaliers continue to show they are in trouble losing 105-96 against the Warriors in their tenth loss in 13 games.
