Once again Beckham's injuries strike the Galaxy

Last Wednesday night the Galaxy faced the Mexican team Pachuca in the final of the Super Liga Tournament at the Home Depot Center and David Beckham was able to play the first thirty minutes of the game until he crashed with Fernando Salazar and injured his knee.
Beside Beckham absence the rest of the game; Pete Vanegas made a goal but into the team’s own net, throughout the game the team applied an intensive offensive pressure which was able to confuse the Mexicans in some point of the match.
After Beckham’s departure Galaxy fans might have lost their hope in a victory for the team and sadly that was the result, with a 4-3 score and Pachuca earned the Super Liga title. After some treatment, the midfielder returned to the bench, but wearing a grey suit and tie to watch the rest of the match.
England will play in the Euro 2008 and the qualifying games are against Israel on September 8th and versus Russia on September 12thand Bechkam is expected to attended both games, despite his injuries he will fly to London in these days to be part of it.
Although, the Galaxy did not win the title it is a night to remember with some thrilling moments and the British icon is helping to capture more attention among the MLS fans.
