• Jukka Vastaranta is a Finnish pro-cyclist from Tampere who was born on March 29, 1984.
• During 2003-2006 he rode in the Dutch team Rabobank but for 2007 he will switch to the Belgian continental team Jartazi-Promo Fashion
• He achieved fifth place in the Junior Peace Race and a ninth in the Ober-�sterreich Rundfahrt
• He has achieved three victories in six World Cup races:
  • the Coupe du Pr�sident/Coupe Ville de Grudziadz in Poland (29 April - 3 May)
  • the Grand Prix G�n�ral Patton in Luxembourg (7-8 July)
  • the Tour de l'Abitibi in Canada (16-22 July)
