The Chinese Grand Prix circuit, Shanghai International Circuit in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, is the most expensive F1 circuit facility ever made, costing US$ 240 million.
On September 26, 2004 the first Chinese Grand Prix took place, at which Rubens Barrichello won first place. In 2006, Michael Schumacher won his last F1 race in a rain hit Chinese Grand Prix.
