The Chicago BlackHawks have been associated with the National Hockey League since the mid 1920’s.
The team has been very successful as it has achieved several division championships throughout the decades plus three very impressive Stanley Cup victories.
Despite their early sensation over the past decade the BlackHawks have not qualified for the regular season playoffs and have not managed to get pass the third position in the conference.
Their latest 2007-2008 campaign the team had 40 wins versus 34 loses.
The team’s current Head Coach is former centre hockey player Denis Savard who spent most of his professional career as a BlackHawk player to at the end become as of 2006-2007 the team’s coach. He holds an overall record of 143 games, with 64 wins and 64 losses. |
Some of the BlackHawks Hall of famers are: Max Bentley, Art Coulter, Denis Savard, Clint Smith, Charlie Gardnier, and Pierre Pilote.
