The Rams have played in 16 NIT's and 4 NCAA tournaments. It's last participation in March Madness was back in 1992.

The Fordham University's Rams have not had a winning season since 2006-2007. Many other teams in the conference have similar records. But 2008-2009 was certainly a year to forget.

For that inglorious season the Rams went on to hold a 1-15 record in conference games and a 3-25 mark overall. They close the season with a 10 game losing streak.

This 2009-2010, things are not looking any brighter either. As of early February 2010, Fordham has lost 14 games in  a row, and are yet to win a single conference game.

There are plenty of things Head Coach Dereck Whittenburg and his team need to work on if they want to improve and keep on playing in March. He lost 3 of his starters last year, yet it has not made much of a difference.
