The school men’s basketball team is known as the Highlanders and they play their home games at the Dedmon Center.
The team coaching staff is led by Head Coach Brad Greenberg, assistant coaches Cedric Smith, Ali Ton and Rick Hall as well as Ross Gordon as director of operations.

In 1998 Radford men's basketball team won the Big South Conference tournament and the team also has 3
Big South regular season titles.
This season 2008-09 the team is expecting another big accomplishment like the one in 1998. So by having quality players and their coach Brad Greenberg experience, it can possibly be achieved.
