The men’s basketball team is known as the Highlanders and the athletics program has not been very successful.
The Highlanders are currently coached by Jim Wooldridge who was named as the official coach last May, 2007. His assistants are: Vonn Webb, Dennis Cutts, Chris Brazelton and director of operations John Smallwood.
Some of the current basketball players listed in the team’s roster are: Michael Creppy, Christian Soto, Myles Allen, Severin Gates, Aaron Scott, and B.J. Visman just to mention some of them.
The team plays its home games at the US Riverside Student Recreation Center.
During last season 2007-08 the Highlanders didn’t had their best performance as they just won 4 games and lost 12 in the conference games.
