The men’s basketball team is known as the Titans and they currently hold the NCAA basketball world series championship title for 1979, 1984, 1995 and more recently in 2004.
The team’s first regular conference title was achieved in 1976; then two years later their Coach Bob Dye led the team to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament.
During the 2004-2005 campaign the Titans posted their best season in years with 21 wins, 11 losses and then making it to the final 16 of the NIT.
Presently, the Titans are coached by Bob Burton and they play their home games at the Titan Gym in Fullerton.
For the new season the basketball team will count with players such as: Scott Cutley, Marcus "Money" Crenshaw, Frank Robinson, Ray Reed, KK, Marcus Morgan, Andrew Green and Josh Akognon.
