The UC Irvine men basketball team is known as the Anteaters and has been part of the Big West conference for over 30 years.
The team is currently led by Pat Douglass and his assistants group.
The Anteaters have won two regular conference championships in 2001 and 2002 and they play their home games at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.
Some of the current roster players listed for the next tournament campaign are: Kevin Bland, Darren Fells, Trey Harris, Chad Decasas, Justin Johnson, Chad McDaniel, Patrick Rembert, Chuma Awaji.
The season 2007-08 wasn’t the best for UC Irvine, finishing with an overall record of 10-17. Coach Patt Douglass is hoping a better season this 2008-09.
