The University of Colorados athletic program is known as the Buffaloes; the men’s basketball team is part of the Big 12 conference which participates in the NCAA Division I.
The team’s current Head Coach is Jeff Bzdelik and assistant coaches Steve McClain, Derrick Clark, and Charles Baker.
The Buffaloes has participated in ten NCAA Tournaments, reaching the final four just once, in 1955. They have also participated in 8 NIT, winning once in 1940, and reaching the semi-finals again in 1991.
