The Kansas University’ athletic teams are named the Jayhawks and they're members of the Big 12 conference which participate in the NCAA Division.
The Kansas Jayhawks basketball team is currently the third winningest program in the history of college basketball.
They have won more conference titles in men's basketball than any other college, with a total of 50, 6 of them with the Big 12, and the more recent ones were in the 2006-07 season when they took home both the Conference and Tournament titles.
