The school men’s basketball program is known as the Eagles and the team has been part of the Big Sky conference since 1987.
The Eagles achieved the only regular season championship in 2004 and they are currently coached by Kirk Earlywine and assistants Jamie Matthews, Grant Leo, Rachi Wortham, Travis Naught, and Donald Sims.
The basketball athletics program is still undergoing several changes, some of them taking place during the 2008-09 season.
One of the most recognized Eagles basketball players is Rodney Stuckey who became a NBA player for the Detroit Pistons.
