The school men basketball program is known as the Wildcats and they have been a very successful team in the sport.
The Wild cats have won 17 regular season conference titles, including the seven consecutive seasons from 1968 thru 1973, and 8 post-season tournaments titles with the Big Sky.
More recently in 2005, Weber State was occupied the 51 position amongst the greatest basketball programs in college basketball history.
The team is currently led by Randy Rahe and assistants Eric Duft, Tim Gardner, Jeff Linder, Phil Beckner.
