The school men basketball program is known as the Wildcats and they have been a very successful team in the sport.
The Wild cats have won 17 regular season conference titles, including seven consecutive seasons from 1968 thru 1973, and 8 post-season tournaments titles with the Big Sky.
In 2005, Weber State occupied the 51th position amongst the greatest basketball programs in college basketball history.
The Wildcats claimed the 2006-2007 division championship and with a 16-14 overall, plus a 10-6 conference, coach Rahe is planning to repeat for the 2008-09 period.
