The Fighting Blue Hens are member of the CAA conference and compete in the NCAA Division I.
Throughout the school’s Men’s Basketball history, the team has been part of various conferences.
The Fighting Blue Hens Men’s Basketball were champions during the season 1951-52 as well as the MAC Southern Division Champs in 1952-53. Then there was a dry period of victories until the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons that the Fighting Blue Hens got the title of the NAC Tournament.
And within just a few years time the team got 2 more titles in the American East Conference Tournament In 1997-98 and 1997-99. While as members of the CAA conference the team has been close to achieve a title making it to the semifinals and quarterfinals in the recent years. |
