The Northeastern Huskies joined the CAA in 2005 and they have been very successful in the collective performance during the 2002-03 season.
Before joining the CAA, as a member of the America East Conference, they won eight Regular Season titles and six Tournament titles.
In seven different occasions the Huskies men’s basketball team has classified for the NCAA Tournament.
Some of the school’s best basketball players who were drafted in the NBA are: Reggie Lewis (Boston Celtics captain and All-Star), Perry Moss (Golden State Warriors guard), David Caligaris, Pete Harris, Jose Juan Barea and Andre LaFleur.
