The school men’s basketball team is known as the Lancers and they compete as part of the Division Independents in the NCAA Division I.

The team is currently coached by Mike Gillian and assistants Bill Reinson, Doug Thibault, and Tim Fudd. The Lancers play their home games at the Willet Hall.

During the season 2007-08, the Lancers finished with an overall record of 9-22. In this sixth season with the Lancers, Coach Mike Gillian expected to improve with their returners and have a better season this 2008-09.

One of Lancers most notable players is Jerome Kersey (2006) who was drafted in the second round in 1984 by the Portland Trailblazers.
