Highlanders is the name given to the school’s athletic program. The basketball team plays its home games at the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center as an Independents in the NCAA Division I.

The Highlanders current coach is Jim Casciano who has been with the school for 22 seasons. Last year Coach Casciano’s experience led the team to participate in the NCAA Division I. Casiano entered the 2006-2007 season with a 5-4 record and the team with 13 season wins.

For the 2007-08 season the team set a record on Div I basketball for the most losses in a winless season (29-0).
