The school men basketball team is known as the Rams and they are located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The team’s current Head Coach is Bobby Collins and the Rams play their home games at the LJVM Coliseum Annex.
One of the most accomplished Rams players was National Basketball Association player for Baltimore Bullets (now the Washington Wizards) and New York Knicks Earl "the Pearl" Monroe.
For the 2009 season, WSSU will be a member of the MEAC conference in the NCAA Division I, formerly a CIAA member. |
