The school men’s basketball team is known as the Big Green and it is currently coached by Terry Dunn and assistants Shay Berry and Dean Christian.

During the team’s early years they managed to win three Regular Conference Championship titles in 1956, 1958 & 1959.

Among some of the current players who are listed in the roster are: Alex Barnett , Ronnie Dixon, , Jarrett Mathis, and Robby Pride. Last season the Big Green ended with an overall record of 10-18 and a poor conference record of 3-11.
