The school athletic program is known as the Jaspers and are part of the MAAC conference in the NCAA Division I.
The team has reached the MAAC Conference title (regular season) six times and also the MAAC Tournament title three times.
The Jaspers have appeared 6 times in the NCAA Tournament, reaching the Sweet 16 in 1958.
Some of the team’s most accomplished players throughout its history are: Neil Cohalan professional basketball coach of the New York Knicks, former NBA point guard Luis Flores who currently plays in Greece and former Harlem Globetrotter Junius Kellogg.
The team plays its home games at the Draddy Gymnasium and they are coached by Barry Rohrssen. |
