The red foxes, name of the Marist College athletic teams, compete in the NCAA Division I as a member of the MAAC Conference.
The Red Foxes have had recent outstanding achievements as the team won the MAAC conference title in 2002 and 2007.
The team plays its home games at the McCann Field House in Poughkeepsie, New York.
During the 2004-05 season the Red Foxes achieved to win seven MAAC titles and also managed to obtain all three JetBlue Airways MAAC Commissioner's Cups.
Amongst some of the most accomplished basketball players are: Jared Jordan who played for the LA Lakers and Rick Smits; he is the first Marist College basketball player to enter the NBA since 1988 until 2000. |
