The school men's basketball team is known as the Falcons and they have been members of the MAC for more than 55 years.

The Falcons have won the regular season conference title nine times.
Also they have won four bids to the NCAA Basketball tournament and in 1963 the team reached the Sweet 16.

Additionally, the Falcons are currently coached by Louis Orr who is in his first season with the team becoming the team’s 15th coach…a very aggressive, and defensive minded NBA veteran.

Some of the basketball players listed in the current roster are: Otis Polk, Matt Karaffa, Cameron Madlock, Chris Knight, Nate Miller, Joe Jakubowski, and Darryl Clements.
