The school’s men basketball team is known as the Bulls and they are members of the MAC since 1999.
The team’s performance has improved in recent years, just in March 2005 the team almost won the regular season Mid American conference championship but that same year the Bulls participated in the NIT.
The team’s Head Coach is Reggie Witherspoon and his assistants are: Jim Kwitchoff, Kevin Heck, Turner Battle and administrative assistant Aaron Witherspoon.
During the 2007-2008 the Bulls overall game record stands at 10-20, home (7-6), away (1-12) and neutral (2-2). The conference overall record is 3-13, home (2-6), away (1-7) and neutral (0-0).
Coach Witherspoon is expecting improvement from his rosters this 2008-09 period.
