The school’s men basketball team is known as the Eagles. They have won three conference regular season's titles and four post-season conference tournament titles with the Mid American Conference.
The Eagles have appeared in four NCAA Division I tournaments and hold a 3-4 record; currently tied for the third best among Michigan colleges.
The team is currently coached by Charles E. Ramsey who is currently in his third season with the Eagles.
The Eagles made season 2007-08 memorable with an overall record of 14-16 and a conference record of 8-8; the best league finish for the Eagles since the 1995-96 when they won the division title on the way to a regular-season and MAC Tournament championship.
