The school’s men basketball team is known as the Eagles. They have won three conference regular season's titles and four post-season conference tournament titles with the Mid American Conference.
The Eagles have appeared in four NCAA Division I tournaments and hold a 3-4 record; currently tied for the third best among Michigan colleges.
The team is currently coached by Charles E. Ramsey who is currently in his third season with the Eagles.
Some of the Eagles most famous players are: retired hall of Famer of the NBA - George Gervin, NBA player for the Indiana Pacers, Earl Higgins, and NBA player for the New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls Fred Cofield.
Eastern Michigan finished the 2007-08 regular season with an overall record of 14-16 and a conference record of 8-8. |
