Miami University’s athletics program is known as the Redhawks and they have been members of the Mid America Conference since 1948.
The Redhawks are one of the most accomplished basketball teams within the conference; they have won 21 regular season conference titles and four post-season conference tournaments within the MAC.
The team is currently coach by Head Coach Charlie Coles and they play their home games at the Millet Hall in Oxford, Ohio.
The school’s most known rivalry in the west is with Cincinnati. Additionally, one other important fact is that the school is known as the "Cradle of Coaches" as various well-known football coaches were part of Miami previously to their professional career.
