The Morgan State University men’s basketball team is known as the Bears and plays with the MEAC in Division I Basketball.
The Golden Bears dominated the conference during the 2007-08 campaign and won 20 games heading into the conference tournament.
With a 14-2 record as well, they lost the final game to Coppin State.
The team made the NIT tournament last season, but coach Bozeman was aiming for the conference championship.
