The last time the team reached the Final Four was in 1969 and the Elite 8 in 1971.
The Bulldogs have appeared 3 times in the NCAA tournament and have just won their 4th bid in this season 2007-08 as they won both the regular season and the post-season tournament titles in the MVC.
The 28-5 last season put the Bulldogs on the NCAA map once again. After this amazing success coach Keno Davis left the team and took a coaching jon in the Big East.
New Coach Mark Phelps comes with a positive attitude this 2008-09 season, and he brings years of experience as an assistant coach in NCS.
