The school’s athletics program is known as the Falcons and the team won a Mountain West Conference regular season title in 2004. The academy is located in El Paso, Colorado.

Some of the team’s most fierce full service academy rivals are Navy, Army and Colorado State University.

More recently the Falcons reached the final four of the 2007 NIT tournament. The team’s current coach is

Jeff Reynolds and the team plays its home games at the Clune Arena.
Only a few years ago in 1999 the academy joined the conference.
