The team’s current coach is Dave Rose who has led the Cougars to a 20-win in a row season as well as the program’s first national ranking.

Due to the relationships developed by Rose across the country the Cougars have had the opportunity to participate in plenty of games with the nation’s top teams such as the 2004 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational besides other very important ones over the past several years.

Some of the most accomplished Cougars players who have player or currently play in the NBA are: Danny Ainge, Greg Kite, Shawn Bradley, Steve Trumbo, Michael Smith and the Brazilian Rafael Araujo (Utah Jazz player).
