2008- 2009 Top 5 NCAA Basketball Favorite Teams

Duke Blue Devils

They won 28 games last season, so the Blue Devils are looking to fight back in the NCAA competition this 2008-09 period. The team remains the same as last year, except for DeMarcus Nelson. The amazing duo Kyle Singler and Gerald Henderson are eady to score big time with Duke, plus they super stars Lance Thomas, Jon Scheyer, David McClure and Greg Paulus.

With an outsanding selection of players, the team is focusing on inside attendance, which hurt them a little bit during the 2007-08 season.

Louisville Cardinals

Looking to be one more menace this 2008-09 season on the Final Four. Lead by Edgar Sosa, they should have some of the top guard depth again with Andre McGee and Jerry Smith. Earl Clark determined to rejoin and is looking to become one of the greatest players in the Big East.

Freshmen Samardo Samuels is one of the top center recruits in the realm and could easily replace David Padgett who has moved out.

Connecticut Huskies

UConn is in a title preferred team this 2008-09 campaign.

A brilliant group returns which includes Jeff Adrien, Hasheem Thabeet, Jerome Dyson, Stanley Robinson, and Craig Austrie, plus a huge recruiting division should help with the bench.

Star A.J. Price is almost at 100% after several months with an injury, he should be ready after preseason.

The squad has marvelous aptitude and now have the knowledge to make it to a Final Four and perhaps a national title fight.

UCLA Bruins

Even for this campaign UCLA lost Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, and Luc Ruchard Mbah a Moute, but they still have one of the most excellent PGs in the country in Josh Shippm and Darren Collison looked like one of the preeminent players in the untimely part of last season.

James Keefe and Alfred Aboya are jointly competent post presences and Michael Roll should be fit. Also, the peak recruiting class in the state should help with the draft losses. Enlisted Jrue Holliday should plug in right away at SG.

North Carolina Tar Heels

This team is ready to play and performer of the season Tyler Hansbrough is back along with fast PG Ty Lawson and sharpshooter Wayne Ellington, making the Tar Heels the top favorites for this 2008-09 season.

NC is looking to be powerful as always and their guards are one of the finest in the nation; plus backup PG Bobby Frasor is back from grievance and Danny Green is determined to stay one more year. Forward Deon Thompson is back, plus an astrophysical recruiting class guided by Tyler Zeller and Ed Davis who are looking to perform as well as they did last 2007-08 period.
