The Bobcats men’s basketball program started in 1951 in hands of Coach Red Verderame with an overall recordof 14-7 in that season .
One of the legendary coaches for Quinnipiac University was Burt Kahn, who coached the Bobcats for 31 seasons and had an overall record of 459-358. One of the top scorers in the history of the Bobcats was Frank Vieira, who scored a total on 2,649 points during 1957.
Last season the Bobcats finished their season with a record of 14-15 in hands of coach Joe Desantis, who coached the Bobcats for 11 seasons.
In this season 2007-2008 Quinnipiac Bobcats leaded by new coach Tom Moore got to the quarterfinals of the NEC Tournament but lost against Mount St Mary’s University 80-70 and ended their season with a record of 15-15. |
