The St. Francis (NY) men's basketball team is called the Terriers and they joined the NEC in 1981.Head coach Brian Nash has leaded the team since 2005.

The team have won just one conference regular season title in 2001 and they have never appeared in the NCAA Tournament.

In the season 2006-2007 St Francis College ended their season with an overall record of 9-22 and lost the quarterfinals against Central Connecticut with a score of 61-79.

This season 2007-2008 the Saint Francis Terriers fell by score of 83-68 against Long Island Blackbirds in the season finale. The Terriers finished the season with a record of 7-22.
