The school’s athletic program is known as the Redhawks; the team achieved a regular season OV Conference title in 2000; same year of the Redhawks’ only participation in “the Big Dance”.

Throughout its history the men’s basketball team has done reasonably well. During 2007-08 they finished with record of (12-19) in overall games; (7-6) home, (4-12) away, (1-1) neutral besides the (7-13) conference overall. 

The Redhawks’ Head Coach is Scott Edgar who is in his second season with the team and with more than 26-years of experience in the sport. Under his guiding he has recruited 17 players that now play in the NBA.
