Arizona State University athletics program is known as the Sun Devils current members of the Pacific 10 conference in the NCAA Division I.

The Arizona Sun Devils have not yet won a regular season conference title; but the team has appeared during the following years 1958, '61, '62, '63, '64, '73, '75, '80, '81 and 1995 in the Sweet 16 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.

The current Head Coach is Herb Sendek and this one will be his second season with the team.

Some of the most accomplished Sun Devils basketball players who currently play in the NBA are : Tommy Smith, Ike Diogu, Byron Scott, Lafayette Lever, and Eddie House.
