The Bucknell Bison's basketball team is based on Pennsylvania and their home is the Sojka Pavilion. Their head coach is Pat Flannery, who's been with the team since the 1994-1995 season.

The Bisons have won 2 consecutive Patriot League Conference Tournaments, in 2005 and 2006.

The Bucknell University became a member of the Patriot League Conference (PLC) since 1986, when it was named Colonial League Conference, but it wasn't until 1990-1991 season when the basketball team joined it.

Among the most valuable all-time Bucknell players we can find George F Haines, Albert V. Leslie, Joseph B. Steiner and Joseph A. Gallagher.
