The Bucknell Bison's basketball team is based on Pennsylvania and their home is the Sojka Pavilion.
The Bucknell University became a member of the Patriot League Conference (PLC) since 1986, when it was named Colonial League Conference, but it wasn't until 1990-1991 season when the basketball team joined it.
The Bisons have won 2 consecutive Patriot League Conference Tournaments, in 2005 and 2006.
The two-time National Coach of the Year Dave Paulsen starts his first time season with the Bison this 2008-09 period.
With more than 60% winning games on his career, Paulsen has a good eye for recruiting in the Division I level.
