The Crusaders are the most competitive team of the Patriot League. They have won 5 Conference Tournaments during their activity on this Conference, since 1990 and four of them with their current Head Coach Ralph Willard.

The Crusaders also won a National Championship in 1947 and have been in 12 NIT Bids, the last one was in 2005, which the conquered.

Their home is the Hart Center since 1975 and they have won 70 percent of their games at this court due it is a loud and intimidating playing environment for opponents.

This 2008-09 season Coach Ralph Willard opens with a 9th season with the Crusaders and a record of 174 wins, 19 per season, thus becoming one of the top teams on the East Coast.
