Southern Utah Thunderbirds men's basketball team is a member of the Summit League since 1997.

The team won both the regular season and the post-season tournament titles in 2001, earning the bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the school's history.

The team plays its home games at the Centrum Arena and they're currently leaded by head coach Roger Reid who is in his first year with the Thunderbirds.

The team has a 2007-08 regular season overall record of 11-19 and 9-9 in the conference.
