The Western Kentucky basketball team, also known as Hilltoppers, plays its home games at the E.A. Diddle Arena, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
They reached the Final Four in 1971. Current coach Darrin Horn leads them since 2003. With him, they won the regular season Sun Belt Conference title in 2006, and helped them to go to the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship tournament in 2008.
Last season’s overall record was of 29-7 and they made it to the Elite Eight, but were defeated by the UCLA Bruins.
