The Vandals is the men's basketball team of the University of Idaho and is part of the WAC since July, 2005.
The Vandals have five conference regular season titles and four conference tournament titles with their former associations.
The team has played in four NCAA Basketball Tournaments, where they made it to the Sweet 16 once in 1982. Their most recent bid to the tournament was in 1990.
The Idaho Vandals play their home games in the Cowan Spectrum and their head coach is George Pfeifer sin March, 2006.
Last season 2007-08, the Vandals didn’t have a good season ending with a poorly record of 8-21 overall and 5-11 in conference. This season 2008-09, the Valdals and its coach George Pfeifer, are working hard to improve in different aspects of the game this period.
