The Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team is a member of the WAC, and plays in the NCAA Division I.
The team has been playing since 1913, and has 17 conference championships in its history, four of them with the WAC in consecutive years from 2004 to 2007.
They have also won the WAC Tournament twice, in 2004 and 2006.
Nevada have played in the NCAA Tournament 6 times, but they reached the Sweet 16 for the first time until March 2004.
In 2007, the team was ranked #9, the highest ranking that the school has ever held. They ended the season 2007-08 with an overall record of 21-12 and a conference record of 12-4. Nevada ended that season loosing their first game in the College Basketball Invitational against Houston 79-80.
